Greenman Solar installs 3.7kWp system near Dungeness Nuclear power station

This 3.7kW solar photovoltaic installation has been completed today, June 14. Constructed on Romney Marsh near Dungeness Nuclear power station, the system saves approximately 2,200kg of carbon dioxide each year.

The professional couple who own the system wanted to do their bit for the planet and decided on installing solar PV. Given the area they are living in, generating renewable energy was a conscious decision.  The couple is now able to benefit from Government’s feed-in tariff payments, which remain unchanged for residential projects.

The system, which was installed and designed by Greenman Solar, is comprised of 18 x 205W NSI mono modules giving a peak power of 3.7kW (due south), the inverter is SMA 3300 and the mounting system is ClickFit.
