M3 Solar is to install a 49.75kW integrated solar installation in the roof of Bilting Mushrooms, Canterbury. Construction is due to begin on November 1 and last for three weeks.
Utilising the Mecosun system the project design overrides concerns over the structural integrity of the building. Owing to the fact that the Mecosun system and the panels weigh the same as the clients existing roof, the integrated system has zero structural impact.
Bilting Mushrooms will now be able to cut energy costs for its storage business as well as reducing CO2 emissions.
