Mounting Systems GmbH, a global manufacturer of solar mounting systems, is set to open a new UK-based office in Milton Keynes. The new office will open its doors to the public on March 5, 2012. The Milton Keynes office will join similar offices operating in Sacremento, USA and Lyon, France.
The solar mounting system manufacturer chose Milton Keynes because of the easy access routes it enjoys. Mounting Systems also view the city as a proven centre of international activity.
Julian Möller, Senior Manager Sales UK, is responsible for setting up the new office in Fairbourne Drive, Atterbury Lake. “We are delighted to further improve our customer’s service and provide specialist advice throughout the UK and Ireland,” says Möller.
Helge Tost, Director of Sales & Marketing at Mounting Systems in Rangsdorf, adds: “We have grown tremendously in recent years and increased our presence around the world. Proximity to customers is more important now than ever. Of this, we are convinced. This step will further strengthen our business relationships in the UK market.”
Tost concluded: “The UK currently has good conditions for the photovoltaic industry and is an attractive market. It is our objective to aid the UK government to achieve its declared targets as quickly as possible. The fact that local players are prepared to work hard here adds impetus to this trend.”
