BayWa r.e. Solar Systems is to host a series of exclusive workshops for installers alongside module suppliers Trina Solar and LG Solar at this year’s Solar Energy UK | Clean Energy Live, which gets underway next week at Birmingham’s NEC.

Both workshops have been designed to support installers engaged in the UK solar industry, particularly those expecting to remain active in the commercial-scale market in coming months and those interested by the nascent battery storage market.

Solar Energy UK | Clean Energy Live will open its doors to thousands of clean energy professionals next week when it gets underway at the NEC on Tuesday 4 October. Storage looks set to be a central theme running throughout the three-day exhibition, with more than 30 storage-related companies exhibiting at the show. An Energy Storage Theatre will see demonstrations and presentations from numerous experts in the field.

BayWa’s workshop with Trina Solar is to take place on Tuesday 4 October and will be chaired by Lloyds Banking Group’s Paul Eggleton, who has more than 16 years’ experience in the energy and sustainability sector.

Meanwhile Thursday’s workshop with LG Solar and LG Chem has been established to educate installers on the benefits of bifacial modules and battery storage solutions.

Installers interested in attending either session should contact Meryl Roberts
