German solar giant, Centrosolar, has launched an English-language version of its Centrocheck solar planning tool for the UK solar market. The online portal is designed to help UK installers create fully-customised system designs as well as providing homeowners an easy way to evaluate the solar potential of their property.
Installers can enter all the relevant parameters individually, from roof and inverter layout to radiation figures and shading objects. Centrocheck then provides a country-specific calculation which includes the yield and efficiency forecasts of the project. Installers are then able to download and print all the planning data as well as forwarding on the specification to Centrosolar for a system-specific quote.
In addition to the UK, Centrocheck is being made available globally – from Austria to Vietnam. As the system is an entirely online platform, the program does not need to be installed locally; installers can even access the programme on-site, using the mobile address.
