Earthwise Products has agreed a deal with PV Kits Direct which will now distribute the company’s SOLiC 200 water heating solution.
The device automatically converts energy generated by new and existing PV panels into hot water by diverting unused power to the immersion heater before it is exported to the national grid.
Iain McRitchie, managing director of Earthwise Products, said: “We’re delighted to be working with PV Kits Direct following our meeting at Solar Energy UK. There is a fantastic opportunity for installers to revisit existing or add new customers with the SOLiC 200.
“Easy to fit with class leading efficiency means every home with solar PV installed should consider fitting a SOLiC 200 to delivery free hot water and maximise the benefit of installing PV.”
A statement released by PV Kits Direct added: “We believe that this is an excellent product to complement our current portfolio, and we look forward to working with Earthwise to promote their product in the future.”
The SOLiC 200, which is manufactured in the UK and complies with CE and British Standards, has been engineered to last the life of a solar installation (25 years) and includes a ten-year return-to-base guarantee as standard.
The deal comes just a few months after Earthwise landed a similar distribution deal with Solarvis.
