Solar PV developer, Inazin Power has revealed that it connected 76MW of solar farm capacity to the grid ahead of the 31 March renewable obligation (RO) deadline.

The four solar farms are located in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Buckinghamshire and Dorset and take the company’s total solar farm portfolio to 23 sites. Significantly for Inazin, the company’s UK solar portfolio now represents a total capacity of over 200MW.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Inazin Power’s CEO, David Sandilands said that he was “delighted” Inazin was able to connect its projects in time for the RO deadline. Sandilands added that the company was “looking forward to delivering further growth in the coming year and beyond”.

The largest of the four projects completed was a 38MW site in Cambridgeshire for renewable energy investment company, Low Carbon – Inazin Power’s largest UK project to date. The company estimates that its 200MW portfolio will produce enough energy to power 60,000 homes across the UK with clean, renewable electricity.
