Introducing Inside Clean Energy magazine

Solar Media, the publishers of Solar Business Focus UK magazine and Solar Power Portal, are delighted to introduce Inside Clean Energy, the new magazine designed to provide insight and intelligence to the UK’s clean energy supply chain.

Solar Business Focus UK has been informing UK solar for five years and as the industry adapts and evolves, the resources that guide it must do too.

The UK renewables industry as a whole has been significantly impacted by the retraction of subsidies. Solar has been perhaps hardest hit, with both utility and residential-scale markets facing uncertain times. Those sub-sectors are responding in various ways but both are clear in their conclusion; it is imperative for them not to stand still.

Solar Media is adamant of that as well and intends to not just help drive UK solar towards a subsidy-free future, but the entire clean energy market to its undoubted potential.

Recent issues of SBF UK have been put together to very much reflect that transition or evolution. New technologies, financial models and business markets are emerging, offering conclusive proof that there is life beyond the feed-in tariff, Renewables Obligation and other support frameworks.

Inside Clean Energy magazine will offer all the same invaluable insight and intelligence that SBFUK has become associated with for the wider clean energy space to ensure that you have all the tools at your disposal to continue the UK’s transition to a cleaner, greener and ultimately more sustainable energy network.

Inside Clean Energy issue one will include an in-depth look at current recruitment trends, an analysis of what Green Deal-accredited installers are doing to win business following the scheme’s early curtailment, a closer look at drone-powered O&M and an exclusive interview with Anesco’s new chief executive.

Subscribing to Inside Clean Energy couldn’t be easier. Simply register your email here, and the latest issue will be sent directly to your inbox as soon as it is available. Print editions will also be available and all existing subscriptions to SBFUK will be carried over.

The first issue of the new magazine is to be published in the first week of July, with print copies distributed and digital copies emailed to a subscriber list the following week. Our second issue will be released in time for Clean Energy Live, our annual show co-located with Solar Energy UK at Birmingham’s NEC in October.

Liam Stoker, editor for Solar Power Portal and Inside Clean Energy, said: “Watching closely the UK’s renewable energy industry over the last six months, it has become increasingly apparent that while government subsidy cuts have hit it hard, there is a more resilient, resourceful and multi-faceted one emerging. Inside Clean Energy will be just as resourceful as the industry it is aimed at.”

Marketing opportunities are also available. More detail can be found in our media pack which can be downloaded here, or by contacting Rachel McGhie.
