Jeremy Leggett, founding director of Solarcentury, believes that the solar industry must do more to fight well-placed and well-heeled fossil fuel lobbyists in the UK.
In an exclusive video interview with Solar Power Portal, Leggett explained that solar energy is involved in a “civil war” with established fossil fuels companies who are “beating us [the solar industry] hands down” at the moment. Legget has urged solar companies to get more involved in lobbying, repeating that “a little goes a long way”.
