Switzerland-based solar company Luxra is to launch a new, anti-dumping duty-free branded solar module in the UK at this year’s SEUK event.

Luxra chief executive Peter Ziegler will be presented with MCS certification for the company’s full range of PV modules at the show after the company revealed its intentions to expand into new markets.

Mike Judge, MD at Luxra UK, said the UK market was “quite challenging” in comparison to other markets the company is currently active in such as the US, where he said Luxra had identified “huge sales potential”.

The module manufacturing, EPC and development firm has installed more than 260MW of solar across ground and roof-mounted projects in Germany to date, and is to open an office in Lagos, Nigeria, in January next year.
