Solar mounting systems company Valk Solar Systems is looking to capitalise on the “significant recovery” of the UK’s commercial rooftop market with its established flat roof system, while exclusively revealing a new concept for pitched roof tile applications.

Speaking to Solar Power Portal at Solar & Storage Live earlier this month, commercial director Denis de Vette said Valk had seen the UK sector bounce back from a recent decline.

The supplier was exhibiting its ValkPro+ low ballast system for its customer base of wholesalers and large (EPC) installers at the show.

The system comes with as a south and east-west facing variant and an average mounting speed of around 5 minutes per panel. As a standard it can be installed up to 25m but Valk Solar Systems representatives are on hand to help find a solution for systems above this height.

The ValkPVplanner is also being on show so visitors can experience how to utilise the free to use online calculation tool to design a project via satellite images for every pitched and flat roof project.

With Vette adding that the company is also seeing an upswing in domestic project order, the ValkBox concept is also being unveiled.

The storage unit offers pre-packaged small materials, such as roof hooks and panel clamps, and comes in any length of profile in aluminium, semi-black and black colouring.
