Energy and commodities investor ComPro Investments has acquired UK renewables installer ISO Energy.

ISO Energy, which counts commercial and domestic solar PV as a strong element of its portfolio, will become a wholly owned company under ComPro’s portfolio, with ISO Energy chairman Justin Broadbent joining the ComPro board.

Broadbent said the deal stood to take ISO Energy to “a whole new level”.

ComPro bills itself as an energy and wider commodities investment firm with the aim of running numerous businesses as a “cogent portfolio”, with the intent of growing them over a sustained period of time.

Broadbent will be joining ComPro’s board as a non-executive director, aiding the firm’s directors and founders Chris Sayer and Peter Davies.
