South Korean PV module manufacturer S-Energy has landed a deal to supply 27MW of modules to German developer Goldbeck Solar, for use in UK-based projects.

S-Energy is to deliver its new SN-series modules, developed at the company’s Daejeon manufacturing facility, with deliveries expected to start next month.

The order builds on S-Energy’s presence in Europe having already shipped more than 300MW of its modules to the continent.

“We are very excited about this relationship with Goldbeck Solar, that will allow both companies to exponential grow in solar markets in Europe, and look forward to expand our cooperation with Goldbeck Solar,” the company said in a statement.

Earlier this week Goldbeck announced that it had started construction of a 50MW solar farm in Melksham, Wiltshire, which will use a combination of S-Energy and Canadian Solar modules as well as Schneider inverters.
