Solar Media can today reveal the entries that have been shortlisted for this year’s Solar Power Portal and Clean Energy Awards, sponsored by Trina Solar.

Nearly 150 entries were received across 12 categories, creating a packed, highly-competitive field. Our esteemed panel of judges have been deliberating over the entries since the deadline closed and have narrowed the field down to the below shortlist.

The projects represent the best and brightest developments from the renewable energy sector over the last year, and include installations in the fields of solar, storage, energy management and renewable heat.

The winners will be announced at this year’s awards ceremony, hosted at Birmingham NEC’s Hilton Metropole on 5 October 2016 and presented by stand up comedian Jimmy Carr.

Tickets for the ceremony are now available and can be purchased online here, or by contacting [email protected].

Solar Media would like to congratulate those shortlisted and wish them the best of the luck for the night, and commiserate those unsuccessful this year.
