The Solar Power Portal Awards 2017 is now just a matter of weeks away and the shortlisted entrants have all been publicised.
Nearly 60 nominations have been shortlisted across the 12 public categories, the winners from which will be announced during the gala dinner ceremony at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham on Wednesday 4 October 2017.
The occasion, always one of the highlights of the UK solar calendar, will this year be hosted by TV personality and renowned renewables advocate Robert Llewellyn.
As we countdown to the ceremony, Solar Power Portal is to shine the spotlight on this year’s shortlisted nominations, starting with the O&M Provider of the Year.
The shortlisted entries are;
- Brighter Green Engineering
- British Solar Renewables
- Clean Solar Solutions
- RES
British Solar Renewables has been a stalwart of the UK renewables scene and first formed its O&M team back in 2010. Since then, it has been amassing expertise and stature, with its current portfolio totalling more than 500MW.
The outfit has both central and regional teams providing management and performance monitoring as well as rapid response and regular site visits. BSR has said it prides itself in the training of its employees with more than 60 different types of training on offer for staff.
So will this year’s O&M Provider of the Year go to the established name of BSR, or will one of its rivals steal a march on the familiar name? All will be revealed on 4 October 2017.
