The deadline for nominations for this year’s Solar Power Portal Awards, sponsored by Trina Solar, has been extended due to substantial last-minute demand.
The nominations window was due to close at midnight today (30 June), but will now close at midnight this Sunday 3 July.
Solar Media has taken the decision to extend the nominations window after a large number of prospective nominees contacted us earlier this week requesting more time to complete and submit.
If you have started or completed a submission and have yet to submit it, then we would implore you to do so as soon as possible. We will be unable to accept any nominations after the online process has closed.
It is however not too late to start a new application and it is free to enter. The newly automated nomination process takes just minutes, and all shortlisted entries receive two free tickets to the awards ceremony and gala dinner in October.

This year’s ceremony takes place at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole on 5 October and will be hosted by stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr.
