Solar Power Portal will be reporting live and exhibiting at this year’s Solar & Storage Live exhibition, continuing its relationship with the show.

Solar Media, SPP’s publisher, sold the exhibition to international events company Terrapinn last year, but is maintaining its presence at the solar and storage trade exhibition by bringing its UK-facing solar and storage editorial teams to the show floor.

The Solar Power Portal, Energy Storage News and Current± editorial teams will both be reporting live from the event, and the publications’ press office will be located at Stand H20, opposite the hall’s networking lounge.

Solar Media’s UK editor Liam Stoker, energy storage editor Andy Colthorpe and roving reporter Alice Grundy will be producing news stories, key interviews, daily recaps and audio content from the show floor. If you’re exhibiting or just visiting Solar & Storage Live and have a story worth telling, get in touch.

In addition, Solar Power Portal will be hosting a drinks reception on the opening day of the show – Tuesday 17 September – taking place at the press office between 5pm until the show floor closes at 6:30pm.

Attendance at the drink reception is entirely FREE, so drop by stand H20 from 5pm and share a drink with the editorial team and the wider industry in general.

“SPP continues to be the UK solar sector’s most-read source of news and insight, so we felt it was vital that we continued to directly engage with the industry at was is arguably the most important event in its calendar,” Stoker said.

“With subsidy-free developments accelerating at pace, the Smart Export Guarantee on the horizon and flexibility markets beginning to truly open up, it’s an interesting time for the UK’s solar and storage sectors and we’ve some great plans for our coverage over the year ahead,” he added.
