Solar manufacturer, Trina Solar, has announced the launch of its live Roadshow which will tour the UK between October 2-10. Trina Solar’s very own event truck will be travelling up and down the country hoping to engage the local solar PV installer community by offering a unique live and interactive experience.

Explaining why Trina has decided to launch its Roadshow in the UK, Ben Hill, Head of Europe at Trina Solar, said: “We are seeing strong demand for our products in the UK market. Taking our innovative products, solutions, and services out on the road is an opportunity for the local installer community to experience Trina Solar at first hand.”

The motto for the company’s Roadshow is “Get on the Fast Track” which plays on Trina Solar’s strong partnership with the Lotus F1 team. Expanding on the Formula One theme, the interior of the truck has been designed to resemble a racetrack, with visitors guided around various different areas which reflect each of the Roadshow themes.

In the “Strong Team” area, guests will learn about the Trina Solar Training Academy and Partner Plus programme. The “High Performance” zone will demonstrate the company’s Honey technology and how it improves a module’s efficiency. Trina Solar’s black product range will be the focus of the “Superior Design” section. Finally, the home straight serves as the “Innovative Solutions” area. Here, installers will be able to get hands-on experience with Trina Solar’s wide range of Trinamount solutions as well as learn about the company’s Trinasmart power optimisation and monitoring solution.

In addition to the live demonstrations, installers can also test their mettle on the onboard Lotus F1 simulator or network with other installers and solar professionals in the company’s business lounge.

Richard Rushin, Sales Manager Trina Solar UK, added: “With the Training Academy and Partner Plus programme having been launched successfully in the UK earlier this year, many installers are already benefiting from the training opportunities, support, and incentives that Trina Solar provides. We believe that once they have gone for a spin around the Roadshow truck, many more will want to get on the fast track with Trina Solar.”

The first stop on the Roadshow will see Trina Solar’s truck arrive in Birmingham on October 2-4 in time to catch all those attending this year’s Solar Power UK exhibition and conference. Solar Power UK is the UK’s largest dedicated Solar PV event, featuring over 160 exhibitors from across the UK solar industry spectrum at the NEC in Birmingham.

After Solar Power UK, the Roadshow will then move on to North London (October 8) and to South London (October 10) before crossing over to Germany where it will stop at Dortmund, Hannover, Radeberg, Bad Gersfeld, Mannheim, Bamberg, Neu-Ulm, Ingolstadt and Munich.
