Tier one module manufacturer Vikram Solar has signed a supply deal with UK distributor Edmundson Electrical Greentech (EEG).
The Kolkata-headquartered firm will supply EEG with a total annual output of 25MW of its Eldora Ultima modules, which the distributor will add to its supply range for the UK PV market.
Andrew Fawcett, business development manager at Edmundson Electrical, said Vikram Solar was the “ideal partner” for the firm and that its status as a tier one manufacturer gave assurances over its future viability.
“Last but not least, we were also impressed with the particularly good price-performance ratio and Vikram’s local presence in the UK,” Fawcett added.
The deal with EEG follows a similar agreement reached between Vikram Solar and EH Smith Builders Merchants in April this year which saw the Midlands-based merchants also take on Vikram’s Eldora Ultimate modules.
