Vogt solar commissioned eight solar farms with a total capacity of 132.4MWp in the first three months of 2015.
All eight sites were connected prior to the 1.4ROC deadline on 1 April and work conducted by Vogt solar included project development, design and EPC, operations and maintenance and construction financing.
The projects Vogt solar commissioned include:
• An 11.6MWp farm in Pashley, Sussex
• A 5.9Mwp extension in Crundale, Pembrokeshire
• A 37.4MWp farm in Sussex
• An 18MWp farm in Molehill, Kent
• An 8.1MWp project in Horam, Sussex
• A 15.3MWp farm at Castle Combe, Wiltshire
• A 28.3MWp project in Gloucester
• A 10.5MWp solar farm at Wrockwardine in Telford and Wrekin
Anton Milner, managing director at Vogt solar’s parent company ib vogt, said the company faced a “challenging program” throughout Q1 due to the nature of the projects involved.
The projects take Vogt solar’s capacity in the UK to 330MWp, of which 196MWp has been constructed under 1.4ROC accreditation.
Vogt has also committed itself to long-term growth in the UK and insisted it will remain a major market for the company despite ROC subsidies coming to an end.
The company currently has a project pipeline in the UK in excess of 300MWp, of which around a third have received planning permission with construction slated to start in the coming months.
