Bisol launch new solar monitoring application

Bisol has developed a new, real-time monitoring system that is capable of detecting PV system faults. By alerting relevant parties of detected errors, the system enables a rapid response from solar installers.

The web application is capable of providing round-the-clock monitoring of a PV array. Bisol’s solution allows the owner to track daily, monthly and yearly energy yields, total production to date, current efficiency of the PV system, past and future income and other detailed information about the solar power plant. Users can also check the weather forecast, information about the CO2 reduction and other ecologically relevant information.

The system can be configured to send out immediate alerts vie e-mail and SMS to the owner of the system and the maintenance team. The application also incorporates a full ticketing system that stores all the communication and history about maintenance procedures.

Bisol offers owners the opportunity to set up a public web page profile connected to the system, complete with a picture gallery that shares selected information about the solar installation. Bisol has also announced that it will be releasing a mobile version of the application for Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms.

Bisol’s monitoring system is suitable for both private and professional use and is compatible with residential and large-scale solar PV systems.
