Latest ELPS mono and poly cell (P-type) modules
The latest ELPS modules from Canadian Solar enable greater light collection resulting in a cell efficiency up to 19.5% for monocrystalline and 18% for polycrystalline cells. These modules deliver 6.3% more electricity than conventional solar modules due to the metal wrap through design which moves the front busbars to the back of the cells, allowing for 3% more light absorption per cell.
Providing excellent performance in low light conditions, module efficiency for the monocrystalline products stands at 16.47% with polycrystalline at 15.85%. MCS certification for the new ELPS modules is currently pending, with accreditation for the UK due to be confirmed in October.

Established in early 2008, the Canadian Solar Photovoltaic Testing Lab ensures the highest international testing standards for solar panels delivered to our customers, operating with a full accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025 (Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories)
The Photovoltaic Testing Lab has been equipped with a damp heat chamber, thermal cycling chamber, UV chamber, hotspot test equipment, IR camera, salt spray chambers and water spray chambers. The following reliability tests may be conducted in our lab: thermal cycling, damp heat, UV, hotspot, mechanical load, I-V performance, outdoor exposure, dry & wet hi-pot, bypass diode thermal, humidity freeze and robustness of terminations.
