JA Solar’s sponsorship of the BDR German cycling team continues at the upcoming Solar Energy UK show in Birmingham NEC where professional BDR athletes will be performing. The company will also be giving away various prizes including a professional road bike, donated by the BDR, used by the German continental team in the recent Road World Championships in Spain.

“We continue to be very proud of our partnership with the BDR,” said Henning Schulze, EU sales director, JA Solar. “Cycling ties in well with our focus on clean energy and the long term effort necessary to achieve the highest performance,” he added.

JA Solar will focus on high efficiency and high yield modules at the exhibition showing its range of ‘Full Square’ Mono 275W and ‘PERCIUM’ 285Wp 60-cell modules as well as exhibiting the new embedded optimised modules.

“JA Solar has a proud position across the sectors in the UK from large-scale to residential,” said Schulze. “In particular our UK partners find the value in the differentiation of the higher powered products. The full square mono product continues to be extremely successful on both ground and mid to large roof projects whilst we see the PERCIUM product line particularly exciting for the UK residential sector.

“The UK continues to be a key market for JA Solar and our continued expansion in head count here further strengthens our commitment and service level,” concluded Schulze.
