Multi-Contact, the Swiss manufacturer of electrical connectors and contact systems, will be displaying its range of electrical connectors and junction boxes at Solar Energy UK in Birmingham.
The Milton Keynes-headquartered UK arm will be showcasing the newly-launched MC4-EVO AC three pole AC connector which was specifically developed for use with micro or nano inverters at the module level. The company claims that its low profile design means that it can be installed within the module framework, allowing modules to be stacked without spacers.
Another new product on show at Solar Energy UK will be the MC4-EVO 2 connector – the new product is claimed to minimise power losses because of high current carrying capacity. The company’s MC4-EVO 3 will also be on show at the company’s stand in Birmingham.
Multi-Contact will also be featuring a new TwinBox junction box designed for connecting thin-film PV solar panels. The junction box features an inbuilt connector, single pole plug and socket units.
Multi-Contact will be exhibiting at stand D36 at Solar Energy UK. The exhibition will take place at the NEC Birmingham on 14-16 October 2014, register for free here.
