Segen has announced a deal with CoEnergia that will see it become the sole distributor of the company’s TriEnergia triangular panels.

The Italian company developed the triangle-shaped modules in order to allow installers to maximise system sizes on roofs that have been traditionally challenging.

Segen notes that the UK has a high percentage of irregular roof faces, making traditional installs using rectangular solar modules less economic. The option of partnering a 100W triangular panel with a 200W square module will enable installers to offer larger arrays as well as improved aesthetics, according to Segen.

Commenting on the partnership Andy Pegg, CEO of Segen, said that the company was excited to offer the triangular panels to the UK market. He added that the design “provides installers with the opportunity to re-engage customers who previously lacked roof space or objected to the aesthetics”.
