SMA Solar UK will be demonstrating a broad range of products designed for all system sizes at this year’s Solar Energy UK (SEUK).

Reflecting Solar Energy UK’s wider focus this year with the introduction of the Energy Plus Pavilion, SMA will be launching its Sunny Boy Smart Energy storage solution. The inverter boasts a storage capacity of 2kWh and is designed to allow PV owners to enjoy the benefit of consuming solar energy throughout the day.

The inverter manufacturer will also showcase its SMA Smart Home system for residential applications. The Smart Home is designed to be an intelligent energy management system for all private households.

The commercial market in the UK market is set to expand this year after the government’s commitment to removing barriers to deployment in the national Solar Strategy. SMA will be exhibiting its Sunny Tripower-Generation product which is available up to 12kW, and the new Sunny Tripower in both 20 and 25kW sizes.

The utility-scale market remains an extremely important part of the UK solar landscape despite proposed changes to the Renewable Obligation. SMA will be demonstrating its MV Power Stations at SEUK which have been designed for the utility-scale sector.

SMA Solar UK can be found exhibiting at stand D40 at this year’s SEUK.
