Wagner Solar UK has announced that it will be showcasing its TRIC F Box mounting system at the NEC Birmingham for this year’s Solar Energy UK.

The new mounting system was designed to be lightweight and is capable of being installed with two tools. As a result, Wagner believes that it can cut installation time by as much as 50% compared to conventional alternatives. In addition, the lightweight nature of the mounting system reduces ballast dramatically.

Commenting on the new TRIC F Box mounting system, Mark Osborne managing director at Wagner Solar UK, said: “The TRIC F Box system has been designed and developed with the installers needs in mind, to enable them to save time on installation work whilst increasing the possibilities for PV systems on flat roofs with sensitive structural loads.

It is available in two variations which together, make both southern orientations as well as east / west orientations of systems possible. According to Wagner, as the panels are always installed vertically, the 10° angle allows the usable roof area to be increased to 65% for south orientation and 95% for east/west systems.

Wagner Solar can also provide customised structural dimensioning of an installation at no extra cost, so installers of the new racking system know exactly how the system should be installed.

Wagner Solar will be exhibiting at stand A18, where the TRIC portfolio will be on display along with a wider range of power and heating products.
