Swiss inverter manufacturer SolarMax has unveiled its new HT series of inverters.
The company claims that the inverter range, designed for commercial and industrial solar plants, has been engineered with the challenge of delivering cost-optimised systems with declining subsidies in mind.
The commercial market is set to be an incredibly important sector to the European solar market, with a recent report by market analyst IHS predicting that more than half of new-build plants in 2014 will be in the commercial sector. Closer to home, the minister for energy and climate change, Greg Barker, has pledged to make mobilising the mid-scale sector his number one priority in 2014.
SolarMax claims that the range includes a number of features that will help installers maximise yield on commercial projects including the opportunity for installers to reduce the gaps between modules and therefore maximise yield from available surface area due to multi-tracking.
The SolarMax HT series will be offered in three models: 30 kW (30HT4) and 32 kW (32HT4) output each with four MPP trackers, and 32kW (32HT2) output with two MPP trackers.
SolarMax will be displaying the HT series at this year’s Ecobuild exhibition on stand S1910 in Hall South.
