Renewable distributor and installer, Navitron has announced a partnership with Chinese inverter manufacturer Solax.

The agreement will see Navitron sell and install the Solax’s range of inverters across the UK.

Commenting on the deal, Stephen Knight, commercial director for Navitron said: “At Navitron, we strive to sell and install the very best products in the industry, and Solax’s range of inverters and hybrid systems are at the top of the market.”

Navitron sees particular potential in the Solax X-Hybrid battery storage solution. Knight explained: “As we know, solar panels generate the most energy during the day when the sun is shining and when most households tend to use the least energy.

“Solax’s X-Hybrid solves this by storing excess electricity in the battery, only feeding into the grid once the battery is fully charged.”

The rise of energy storage, monitoring, smart grids and smart meters, coupled with declining feed-in tariffs has driven an increased desire for installers to look at how solar can play a role in a whole house solution. New to Solar Energy UK this year is Energy Plus – a pavilion showcasing the latest technologies in energy efficiency, distribution and energy storage.
