Solar and battery storage developer Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE) has submitted into planning a 13MWp solar farm in Lincolnshire.

This will be the company's seventh planning application in the UK, with the solar farm – which includes the possibility of energy storage – expected to be operational during 2023.

The developer is currently eying construction of 140MWp of projects across the UK and Canada this year, with an advanced pipeline of more than 1GW of grid capacity.

Rob Denman, managing director at PACE, said: “PACE’s growing team is excited to advance this project that adds to our portfolio where we can co-locate energy storage to provide both clean generation but also additional support to the UK electricity network.”

PACE is continuing to expand its portfolio in the UK after it secured funding from Hitachi Capital Business Finance last December.
