The Department for Energy and Climate Change’s feed-in tariff proposals were released this morning and quickly caught the ire of the entire UK renewables sector.
A near 90% cut to the tariff, coupled with severe quarterly degressions, have proven to be a particularly nasty sting in the tail to an industry already reeling from a number of anti-green policy decision from the government in recent months.
And yet the release raised more questions than it did answers, not least of which relating to just how Prime Minister David Cameron expects to be perceived at December’s COP21 summit in Paris.
