Microinverter manufacturer, Enphase Energy, has said that the stability of UK solar policy is allowing the industry to grow steadily.
Speaking to Solar Power Portal, Paul Nahi CEO of Enphase explained that the UK’s policy environment for solar is instilling confidence in investors, he said: “The stability of the feed-in tariff has enabled the solar industry to grow and has built some very solid companies with great reputations and great experience.”
However, Nahi did warn that there a certain aspects of the industry that are underperforming, namely the commercial sector. He said: “We need to attack the commercial market – a lot of the installation dynamics are very similar. Current installers will be able to take advantage of it once we get policies and processes ironed out and understood.”
