Solar manufacturer JinkoSolar will be demonstrating its Maxim-optimised smart modules at Solar Energy UK when the exhibition gets underway next week.
The modules include a cell optimising system-on-chip solution which embeds the MPPT function deeper into the module, meaning that installers are not constrained by more conventional design limits.
The system removes the need for similar systems to be fitted on the back of a panel as well as the additional network cabling or communications gateways. JinkoSolar also claims that it reduces hot-spot module stress.
JinkoSolar will be demonstrating the solution at stand C34 at the show, held at Birmingham’s NEC.
