Mastervolt has launched its new Soladin Web inverters with integrated WiFi and free online monitoring.
The inverters with outputs of 700W, 1,000W or 1,500W are designed for small PV installations and especially easy to install.
The included Wi-Fi and the new and free IntelliWeb internet portal allow installers to update the inverter firmware remotely. Solar system owners can monitor their system’s yield in real time – anytime and from anywhere. All Soladin Web inverters are made in Holland.
Installing the Soladin Web with internet connection can be done in just a few steps.
“Using the enclosed mounting bracket, the installer attaches the Soladin to the wall, connects the solar modules in one string – and the inverter will start up automatically. All that is left to do now is to enter the country and access data for the Wi-Fi, register by entering name and email address into the IntelliWeb portal, and you’re done,” explained David Bassie, product manager solar, Mastervolt.
The Mastervolt design philosophy allows for a flexible installation of the new Soladin. Thanks to its integrated HF transformer and the wide input voltage range, the inverters can be used with all PV modules. For quick and easy installation, every Soladin Web is equipped with ‘quick connect’ AC terminals and safe DC connectors.
In spite of the inverters’ compact size, the new Soladin series boasts all eight features of the Mastervolt IntelliConcept.
These include the intelligent start-up procedure IntelliStart, which extends the annual operating time by up to 200 hours. IntelliGrid reduces production losses in case of voltage dips in the grid and IntelliShade ensures high yields even in conditions of temporary shading.
The performance of the smart IntelliTrack has been simulated and tested with results of 99.9% static MPPT efficiency and a 99.7% dynamic MPPT efficiency.
The silent IntelliCool system ensures stable high efficiency and constant high power.
Taken together, these features result in 5-10% extra yield compared with systems without the IntelliConcept, the company claims.
