A 29MWp ground mounted solar photovoltaic project has been financed by £21.5 million from the Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions (MIDIS). The project is being sponsored by Quercus Assets Selection (Quercus), a renewable energy infrastructure asset manager, and is receiving 19-year financing.
This project will be one of the largest in the UK, with over 113,000 solar panels to be installed across 56 hectares in Pembrokshire, Wales.
According to both MIDIS and Quercus, the companies have worked together to address the unique financing needs of the structure.
