Family run events business A Day In The Country has taken advantage of solar energy by installing a 22.88kWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Installed by Myriad CEG the system comprises 104 Sharp polycrystalline 220W panels reaching 22.88kWp. As well as bringing in an extra income from feed-in tariff payments and reduced energy bills, the project will help A Day In The Country reduce its carbon footprint by taking 10,389kg of CO2 out of the atmosphere.
The system will produce 19,640kWh a year and, coupled with electricity savings, generate an income stream of approximately £7,500 per annum.
Myriad CEG is one of the UK’s providers of clean energy generation systems, giving clients impartial advice and multiple renewable energy technologies to help them achieve more sustainable buildings.
