Abakus solar AG and Bouygues Energies & Services’ joint venture (abakus BYes solar UK) has completed the construction of three solar farms for renewable investor, Low Carbon.

The three projects total 56.4MW and are located in Sussex, Dorset and Cambridgeshire. The largest of the projects is a 38.1MW solar farm which was connected to the grid in early March in order to qualify for renewable obligation (RO) payments.

Edward Peeke, managing director of Bouygues E&S Infrastructure UK confirmed that the development of solar projects remains “a significant part of our activities in the UK” and the company was “looking forward to delivering more projects in 2015”.

Abakus BYes solar UK will provide O&M services for all three projects.
