Adding to the growing number of training schools in the UK, Able Skills has opened its new solar photovoltaic (PV) centre at its Dartford-based headquarters. The new centre, which has larger roofs for a lifelike teaching experience, will provide students with the experience they need to get started as a solar installer.

The Able Skills centre offers two course options: the City & Guilds 2399 (11-12) photovoltaic training programme, which caters for fully qualified electricians and the NICEIC route designed for those wishing to become domestic electrical installers. The centre also offers a package deal that takes applicants through the entire process of becoming a fully-qualified domestic solar PV installer.

Gary Measures, Director of Able Skills said, “Able Skills are proud to open this new cutting-edge centre which demonstrates our commitment to renewable energy training. With bigger roofs and better facilities, students will benefit from a more realistic learning experience.”
