Bavarian solar specialist Antaris Solar has been awarded accreditation under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for its range of mono- and polycrystalline modules.

The MCS certification is granted by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the UK’s main testing authority, and requires detailed testing of all production processes and thorough assessment of the product performance. The MCS certificate is a prerequisite for selling solar modules in the UK market and confirms that they comply with or surpass the photovoltaic module standards applicable in the UK. The MCS certificate also determines whether products qualify for subsidies and feed-in tariffs.

Dr. Michael Göde, CEO of the Antaris Solar Group said: “We’re constantly working to improve the quality and output of our products and, as an MCS-certified solar power provider with expertise in photovoltaics; we’re also looking forward to being represented in the UK market.”

Antaris Solar’s UK certified modules range from 175 and 230Wp.
