After setting up B&J Saddlery in 1974 Barrie and Lynda Mortlock decided to minimise electricity bills for their showroom by installing a 31.36kWp solar energy system. Contracted by Solarpack and sub-contracted to EES and GB Solar, the solar installation was specially designed for the large structure built in profiled steel.
The 31.36kWp design consists of eight rows of 16 monocrystalline panels. Preliminary reactions from the Ingatestone Saddlery Centre are that the solar panel installation has been a success.
