Bluefield Solar Income Fund has agreed to purchase three solar farms across the UK for a total commitment of £54 million.
The solar farm assets total 48MW of capacity and are made up of: 6.5MW site in Somerset, 12.5MW plant in Wiltshire and a 29MW project in Oxfordshire. All three of the sites are predicted to qualify for 1.4ROCs, beating the April deadline for solar projects.
The three new solar farms take the fund’s total acquisitions to 28. Bluefield states that the new acquisitions were funded in part by its recent placing programme which raised £131 million.
Bluefield’s James Armstrong will be involved in a panel discussion on the introduction of contracts for difference (CfD) at the Large-Scale Solar UK Conference in Bristol on 29 April — click here to book your tickets.
