Spirit Solar designed and installed this 9.945kWp solar PV roof mounted system on the Bourne End Community Centre. The system was commissioned on 25th March this year and has already generated 2,100 kilowatt hours.
The Community Centre’s motivation was to contribute to the reduction of the centre’s energy consumption and carbon footprint as well as for investment purposes. This accompanied with prospect of rising electricity bills made the investment in solar PV a bright one.
The Community Centre is now able to watch exactly how much energy they are generating thanks to the SMA communication devices installed. The information can be viewed both within the Community Centre and online allowing anyone visiting the centre to view the system generation.
