The Bridport Children’s Centre in Dorset now features a grid-tied photovoltaic system, installed by Ecofirst Limited, using 24 Sharp ND-170 polycrystalline modules retro-fitted onto a tiled pitched roof.
The Children’s Centre received a Low Carbon Buildings Program (Phase 2) grant covering 50% of the project costs.
The 24 Sharp modules were mounted on a Schüco PV Light mounting system creating a 4.08 kWp array that is expected to generate approximately 3,597kWh of renewable energy each year.
