Scottish electrical contractor, Campbell and Kennedy, has announced a new finance scheme designed to help both public and private sector organisations in the UK benefit from solar PV. The company, which is traditionally known for its satellite and aerial installation services, recognised that many of its clients were keen to install solar, however, they viewed the relatively high initial upfront cost as a major barrier to entry.
As a result the company is offering a series of varied lease options that range between 10-20 years. All of the finance options are individually tailored to the client’s needs and the scheme has been designed in such a way that ensures that clients’ monthly payments are less than the capital borrowed and payments are seasonalised.
Gerry Kennedy, Managing Director at Campbell & Kennedy commented: “Given the huge financial rewards organisations can reap through solar PV and LED installations – thanks to reduced electricity costs and income generation from the feed-in tariff scheme – we’re delighted to be helping more organisations benefit.”
