Herefordshire-based solar installer Caplor Energy has appointed Mel Preedy as the company’s new business development coordinator.
The new position gives Preedy responsibility for implementing news ideas and strategies to help Caplor Energy achieve a number of diversification and growth ambitions over the next 12 months. Preedy previously worked with local councils and community organisations providing specialist information and advice to aid in development.
Caplor Energy’s managing director, Gareth Williams, said: “We are pleased to welcome Mel to the team and look forward to benefitting from Mel’s research and organisational skills. Mel’s community-focused outlook is entirely consistent with Caplor’s sustainable way of working.”
