Bringing over 12 years of experience to the UK solar industry, German solar equipment manufacturer Conergy is to offer expert training to budding installers, sharing its knowledge within the UK by offering installation companies and trade businesses extensive training opportunities. The teaching program covers both technical theory and practical experience.
“Installers come from various different backgrounds – some are from an electricians background, for example, others are roofers,” explains Christoph Meyn, Senior Training Manager at Conergy.
“This is why, it is vital that we offer exactly the training information that is relevant for the professional background of attendees”.
In the UK, Conergy currently offers two different training programs. The first involves a hands-on approach, focusing mainly on the installation of the panels and mounting systems. The other is designed as an in-depth training discussing planning tools and system designs.
“The first three training sessions in the UK were a great success and the overall feedback was positive and encouraging,” comments Robert Goss, Conergy Director for UK and Ireland. “Nevertheless, Conergy provides feedback questionnaires at the end of each training session. This way the training can be amended according to customer feedback.”
Conergy also offers installers the opportunity to visit its production factories in Germany – the Conergy Module Factory in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Mounting Systems Factory in Rangsdorf. Allowing visitors to experience the production process of the Conergy PowerPlus modules and mounting systems first hand.
