Easy MCS has announced the opening of its new, state of the art training academy in Flintshire, North Wales. The Easy MCS academy will offer candidates the opportunity to experience hands-on training in a broad range of technologies at the brand new facilities.
The academy will be running training for a whole range of renewable technologies including; solar PV, solar thermal and ground and air source heat pumps. In addition to its renewables programme the academy will also be offering Green Deal specialised courses, thanks to Easy MCS’s sister company – Easy Green Deal. The Easy Green Deal academy will offer training courses to help assessors become qualified Green Deal advisors. When the Green Deal launches in October, advisors will play an integral role in the rollout of the scheme by performing initial property assessments.
Steve Morgan OBE, founder of the Morgan Foundation, CEO of Redrow Homes and owner of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. was on hand to open the new training academy. Commenting on the launch of the academy, Company Director of Easy MCS & Easy Green Deal, Thomas Farquhar said: “The launch today is a culmination of the hard work of the entire team and all our industry partners. The support that has been shown by the people who have attended today has been unprecedented and we couldn’t have done it without everyone involved. The Green Deal is an exciting new venture for our company and we hope the investment we have made in these high quality facilities will offer a unique and unrivalled experience to our customers.”
Gareth Evans, an installer who has gone through the training academy for the full range of courses along with the support and mentoring services, added: “The facilities here at the Easy MCS & Easy Green Deal academy are second to none. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly which makes the learning process far more enjoyable.
“We have also been through the support for both MCS & the Green Deal as we think these are the big growth markets at the moment, the mentoring and support we have had has been fantastic.
