Energy efficiency specialist Eco-Nomics has been invited to join the advisory board of BASE London – the annual event that addresses London’s low-carbon objectives.
This year’s BASE event, which will be held on June 21 in Central London, will bring together public sector policy-makers and administrators with the private sector organisations responsible for designing, building, managing and funding the UK’s low-carbon transformation.
Previous events have identified business development opportunities in the areas of smart energy networks and renewable energy; energy management; combined heat and power; recycling and waste to energy systems.
John Tarbet, Eco-Nomics Managing Director, said: “We are really excited to join the advisory board for such a prestigious event. We hope that we can bring our expertise in the energy efficiency and retrofit markets to help BASE London meet and exceed their goals. Whilst our organisation works across the UK, we recognise that London, as the financial capital, is an ideal place to showcase sustainable initiatives to potential investors.”
Steve Norris, Chair of BASE London and Former Transport Minister and London Mayoral Candidate, said: “We're delighted to welcome Eco-Nomics as a valued member of the BASE London advisory board. They are an innovative, forward thinking company with a refreshingly commercial approach to making our built environment more sustainable through use of green technologies. We look forward to a close association for many years to come.”
