Sanyo, a group company of Panasonic, has announced that it will be exhibiting at this year’s Ecobuild. Sanyo will use the event to focus on the upcoming Panasonic brand change for its HIT range of solar modules, due to take affect in April. Sales and marketing staff will be on hand at the booth to explain the shift to the Panasonic brand and answer any questions that visitors may have about the brand change.

The team will also be showcasing information about Panasonic’s HIT Premium Installer Programme. The programme was launched last September in the UK and is designed to support local PV installers with regional sales leads, up-to-date product information and a personalised micro-site to help promote their business.

Also on display at Panasonic’s booth will be the HIT N240, the company’s most efficient HIT solar module to date with a module conversion efficiency of 19 percent, the HIT HD250, with a module conversion efficiency of 18 percent, and the HIT Double bifacial solar module series, as well as a preview of the upcoming “Black Back-Sheet” solar module.

Panasonic is committed to providing products and services that meet the needs of the ever-changing European solar market. Panasonic hope that by drawing on the group’s expertise in solar and battery technology, it can become “No. 1 Green Innovation Company in the Electronics Industry” by 2018.

Ecobuild will be held at London’s Excel Centre from March 20-22. You can visit the team behind the Solar Power Portal on stand N3705.
