Esh Group, one of the leading construction companies in the North of England, has installed a 14.7kWp solar array at its head office in Durham.
The company investigated the possibility of installing photovoltaic panels as part of its business’ sustainability drive. Upon further investigation the company approached Cleaner Air Solutions to help design and install a suitable PV array.
The works consisted of the installation of 84 photovoltaic modules on the roof above the main entrance and reception area. The installation was completed in little over a week with no disruption to company operations.
The system is estimated to produce 9,518.9kWh, providing an overall benefit of £5,025 per year.
Cleaner Air Solutions estimates that the solar array will help the Esh Group save the emission of 5.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
